HIGH VOLUME TRANSACTION PROCESSING

Designed, built, deployed and supported  high volume online transaction processing (OLTP) databases to support telecommunications and commerce applications.  Handled hardware and operating system transitions, performed schema upgrades on live systems, designed methodologies for online and cold backups, and built cluster deployments for high availability.  Created data warehouse solutions to archive data off the OLTP database and to offload the reporting and analytics processing load.
