Late stage companies often face specific and complex challenges as the business begins to grow and take on a life of its own.  However, in every stage of the company it is always important to focus in on the core competencies of the firm - why customers and partners need your product or service, how your product calendar matches up with customer expectations and does the company have the necessary cash from operations or investment activities to deliver on these expectations?

While the challenges may be very different from early stage companies, the focus on product management, product development and business development should remain the same. 

With later stage companies our contributions can be more tactical, such as the creation of a specific strategic partnership or the development of functional requirements for a new product line.  Our work can also be more strategic and may target the integration of an third party technology solution, a late stage fundraising syndicate or assisting in the sale of the company.
