LOCATION BASED APPLICATIONS

Currently developing an infrastructure platform and a variety of applications for the emerging smart phone market focused on using location capabilities with ad supported business models. 

Utilizing our extensive database experience, we keep the intelligence of the applications in the platform service control point which makes decisions and provides timely and appropriate information to client applications on the smart phones.  The goal of this platform is to allow service providers to leverage user demographic information with current location and movement data to offer merchants and ad agencies attractive and extremely targeted advertising opportunities as close to the point of sale as possible.     

PREPAID MOBILE CALLING PLATFORM

Built a distributed prepaid cellular system with a central billing database and several switch control nodes.  Customers included GTE Wireless/MobileNet,  Alltel Communications, Cellular One and through a number of OEM partners and private labeled service bureaus. 

RBOC-GRADE CALLING CARD PLATFORM

Built a "five-nines" calling card platform for major telecommunications operators including GTE, AT&T, and PacBell.  The platform supported both prepaid and postpaid long distance calling with various enhanced services including conferencing, configurable voice prompt menus and extensive fraud detection.  It was deployed in 25 sites with 10 separate Telco customers, serving well over 10 million subscribers and handling over 1 million calling minutes on its busiest day (Mother's Day).
